About Your Candidates

Alex Bub

During my time at Harley-Davidson Motor Company I managed significant programs in design, development, cost analysis, test and evaluation, and all phases of program management. Also included was supplier evaluation, qualification, and contract development with international and domestic partners.

I have gained significant marketing and communications experience during successfully planning and delivery of engineering programs. This includes all phases in the delivery of business objectives, from original concept in the Life Cycle Plan in partnership with Marketing and the Product Planning Committee and following through to product delivery. I have extensive experience in methodology, cost containment, delivering a finished product to customers, and following through with after delivery quality assurance programs.

These skills will fit well with planning an exciting destination OHV park. In addition to my program management skills I also have experience in the OHV world, with a background in sound abatement, sustainable trail design, trail rehabilitation, and working with concerned agencies and partners of all persuasions required to deliver a successful OHV park.

I also have extensive experience in a regulatory environment, delivering products/programs that met all Federal EPA and EC/EU International emissions and sound regulations. I have also worked with agencies such as the Federal EPA, the EU, state regulatory and enforcement agencies, tribal authorities, and concerned critics such as the Sierra Club and local interest groups.

In 2009 I was awarded the NOHVCC Partner of the Year for starting WOHMA to organize all of the varied rider’s interests under one umbrella OHM organization. We have continued to work well under my direction with the other state associations including WOHVA, WATVA, AMA District 16, WOTA, W4WDA and now WORVPI.

Mark Charlton

I am a property owner in Forest County. In fact I am the fourth generation of my family to either live or own a farm and home in Forest County. We have 160 acres in Wabeno and a home on Trump Lake. My great grandfather, William Charlton moved to Wabeno at the turn of the LAST century. My great grandfather, Phillip Zaringer owned a general store in Laona. I am the president of the  Wisconsin Dual Sport Riders, www.widualsportriders.org. We hold two events in Wabeno each year. I am an American Motorcyclist Association Life Member. I ride in competition, off-road recreation as well as on the road.  I also enjoy fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and skiing in the north woods

For business I am the President of Tech Financial,  www.techfin.net. We are a 60 million dollar company that finances and leases manufacturing equipment throughout the US and Canada.   I have owned this company for 10 years. My customers include many manufacturers of off-road jeep and motorcycle parts and many other things. I would be honored to be a part of the WORVPI board.  I know many people in the community and can be an asset in explaining off-road riding and effectively communicating this to our neighbors.
