Forest County Townships Information Meeting June 28th, 2012

The Wisconsin Off-Road Vehicle Park, Inc. (WORVPI) has scheduled an informational meeting for township chairs within the boundaries of Forest County. The meeting will be held on Thursday, June 28th at offices of the Forest County Chamber of Commerce in Crandon, Wisconsin. The meeting will begin at 6:00pm and is expected to last approximately 60 minutes.

 

Directors of WORVPI will be presenting town chairs with an update on our corporation including mission, goals and progress made on assuring that a world-class motorized recreation trail riding venue in established in Forest County.

 

There is no cost to attend this meeting and each township in Forest County has been invited (and encouraged) to send a representative.

The National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council (NOHVCC), in conjunction with the Wisconsin Off-Highway Vehicle Association (WOHVA), will present a one-day workshop as part of WOHVA’s 8th Annual Off-Highway Vehicle Enthusiast Workshop.

 

When: Friday, April 13, 2012

Where: Mole Lake Lodge & Conference Center, Crandon, WI

The workshop will focus on development of a world-class Off-Road Vehicle Park in Forest County, WI. Topics will include park development principles, the latest state and local developments, strategies to obtain land for a park, successful OHV parks and trail systems, economic benefits of OHV recreation, and partnership development opportunities.
