WORVPI President Attends Annual Conference

Of National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council

Great Falls, MT, September 30, 2014 -- The National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council (NOHVCC) held its annual conference in Great Falls, Montana, on August 19-23, 2014. Among those attending was John Schnorr, President of the Wisconsin Off-Road Vehicle Park, Inc. (WORVPI).

NOHVCC is a not-for-profit educational organization that promotes the safe and responsible use of Off-Highway Vehicles (OHVs), including All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs), Off-Highway Motorcycles (OHM or dirt bike), Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles (ROVs, also called side by sides or UTVs) and 4-Wheel Drive Vehicles (4WD or 4x4). Using a network of state partners, it develops and provides a wide spectrum of programs, materials and information, or “tools”, to OHV clubs, associations, agencies and individuals across the U.S. and Canada. It also works with the International Off-Highway Vehicle Administrators Association (INOHVAA), an organization of officials at all levels of government who manage OHV recreation in their areas, and holds its conference jointly with NOHVCC.

The 5-day joint conference included a wide variety of presentations related to building and maintaining sustainable OHV trails, new materials that promote responsible motorized recreation, a day of joint sessions with NOHVCC and INOHVAA, and demonstrations of trail building equipment during a mobile workshop at the Bull Run Guest Ranch.

NOHVCC and its state partners work hard to meet its mission to “Create a positive future for OHV recreation.” For more information, visit www.nohvcc.org. To contact NOHVCC about its many “tools” and educational materials available to OHV clubs, agencies and schools, send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
