WORVPI Weekly Update (1/20/15)

The Wisconsin Off-Road Vehicle Park, Inc. (WORVPI), like the rest of Wisconsin, shares your disappointment in the Green Bay Packers season ending loss to that West Coast team whose name we will not mention.

Last week, WORVPI signed a Memo of Understanding (MOU) with Badgerland 4x4 Club. We’re extremely pleased to add Badgerland to our list of Partners. The groups on our Partner’s List have realized that a Motorized Recreation Area (MRA) will never become a reality without the active support of user groups. Simply waiting for Our Park to open and then jumping onboard with support is not productive, nor being a responsible advocate for motorized recreation. Thanks Badgerland, for realizing that being involved yields results!

The WORVPI Team also launched our second Direct Mail Informational Update. The goal of these Mailers is to address the misleading and often completely untrue statements being made about our Park Project. Often, individuals and media reports have made extremely negative statements about our Project. They have regularly fabricated outlandish, fictitious and completely untrue statements which they then promote as facts. WORVPI believes that the residents and struggling business owners of Northern Wisconsin deserve accurate information on Our Park Project. More, they’re entitled to County leadership which explores all opportunities to assure that property tax increases can be avoided without negatively impacting services offered, while still promoting economic opportunities for new business development and increased employment opportunities.

On the bottom of our Direct Mailers we include a list of “Proud Partners.” WORVPI continues to work on expanding our list of groups and organizations with which we have signed a MOU/Partnership Agreement. We’re actively seeking additional Partnerships with motorized advocacy groups within Wisconsin (as well as nationally). If your club or organization is interested in becoming a WORVPI Partner please have a representative contact WORVPI at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. A regularly scheduled Quarterly Meeting of the WORVPI Board of Directors is scheduled for this week. As always, at this meeting, the minutes from the previous Quarterly BOD Meeting (October ’14) will be approved and then available for review on our web site (www.WORVPI.org) following that meeting.
