Weekly Update (11/24/2014)

The WORVPI Phase II Management Team (Team) met last week (Thursday, November 20th) in Crandon, Wisconsin. Numerous WORVPI Projects near completion including; WORVPI’s first Public Relations Campaign (this project has been delivered to our printer and we anticipate delivery within two weeks), wrapping-up our First Annual Corporate Report (WORVPI’s Annual Corporate Report is now available on our web site and a personal mailing to all WORVPI members is planned for next week), and the finishing touches to our major Research Project were completed (the Research Project should also launch next week). All three Projects are new challenges for WORVPI and we’re excited to see them coming to fruition. The WORVPI Phase II Management Team has worked hard and diligently on these Projects. All members of the Team brought their unique skills to the Projects…THANKS!

The Team continues working to provide the Forestry & Recreation Department with feedback. WORVPI has consulted with State Agencies and National Motorized Advocate Organizations regarding the amendments to the Forest County 15 Year Comprehensive Forest Management Plan. These groups have provided a vast amount of expertise and advice to WORVPI regarding the Forest County Forestry Department proposed amendments to their Plan. WORVPI is on schedule to provide comment on these proposed amendments at the next Forest County Forestry Committee, MRA Sub-Committee meeting scheduled for December 9th.

WORVPI continues to work on expanding our list of groups and organizations with which we have an MOU/Partnership Agreement. We’re actively seeking additional Partnerships with motorized advocacy groups within Wisconsin (as well as nationally).
